“LOVE & MARRIAGE: HUNTSVILLE” STAR KEKE JABBAR DEAD AT 42

No cause of death was immediately given.

KeKe Jabbar, a cast member of the OWN reality show Love & Marriage: Huntsville, has died at age 42. A cause of death was not immediately made available.

Jabbar's death was announced Tuesday by blogger Marcella Speaks during a YouTube live stream. Speaks read a statement she said was from Jabbar's family that said Jabbar had died "peacefully at home surrounded in love."

LaTisha Scott, Jabbar's cousin and costar on Love & Marriage: Huntsville, shared a brief message on Instagram, writing, "At this time we are asking for RESPECT, and PRIVACY in our moment of grief, while we process this great loss! This is hard for our family!!!!!"

OWN's site describes Love & Marriage: Huntsville as a series that "centers around the lives of three high-powered African-American couples who come together to revitalize the thriving city of Huntsville, Alabama, through their joint real estate venture, The Comeback Group."

Jabbar joined Scott on the reality series last year.

Reps for Love & Marriage: Huntsville did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment.
