JASON KELCE ADMITS HE'S 'OUT' ON FOURTH OF JULY TRADITION

During this week's episode of the "New Heights" podcast, Philadelphia Eagles legend Jason Kelce made it abundantly clear that he's not fond of a very popular Fourth of July tradition.

Despite being a firecracker on the gridiron, Kelce isn't a fan of fireworks. In fact, he won't even go near them.

"Growing up, Ed and Donna, that was a hard no," Jason said, via Parade. "I'm not going to lie. I do not like lighting any of those things anywhere in my vicinity. I am out on the fireworks...I'm terrified of them."

That led to Travis sharing an unfortunate story regarding a family member's friend.

"I think Dad and Aunt Judy knew someone at a young age that blew off their hand or something like that," Travis added.

There's no question that fireworks can be extremely dangerous, so we understand why Jason is against setting them off regardless of the occasion.

On the flip side, fireworks on the Fourth of July is a tradition that won't go away anytime soon. We just hope everyone takes the proper safety measures when using them.

As for the Kelce brothers, they'll stick to a different tradition. They said they'll be "drinking beer and eating hot dogs" this weekend.
