NBA STAR MAKES SURPRISE CAMEO IN KENDRICK LAMAR'S 'NOT LIKE US' MUSIC VIDEO AFTER PICKING SIDES IN RAPPER'S BEEF WITH DRAKE

In the next chapter of Kendrick Lamar's beef with Drake, the music video for his diss track of the Toronto-born rapper, 'Not Like Us', was released on Thursday.

Former Raptor, Bull, and current free agent DeMar DeRozan made a cameo in the video, appearing as the lyrics name drop him.

DeRozan had already picked sides in the heated feud, siding with Lamar despite being close with Drake when he played in Toronto.

While squatting down near storage containers, Lamar raps the lyric 'I'm glad DeRoz came home. Y'all didn't deserve him neither' with DeRozan glaring into the camera.

The diss refers to DeRozan playing for American teams after spending the first nine years of his career in Toronto. Drake is arguably the biggest celebrity fan of the Raptors.

DeRozan's appearance in the video comes a few weeks after he appeared on stage with Lamar in Los Angeles alongside Russell Westbrook as the 17-time Grammy Award winner performed 'Not Like Us' live during his 'The Pop Out' show.

DeRozan was known to be close to the Canadian during his time with the Raptors, with Drake going as far to call him 'my dog' after being name-dropped on his 2021 song 'Lemon Pepper Freestyle'.

Even if DeRozan and Drake were close at one time, his support for Lamar amid one of rap's biggest public disputes between two huge stars in a decade is obvious.

DeRozan and Lamar hail from the same hometown of Compton, California, leading to a bond between the stars.

Lamar and Drake's beef started over a decade ago, with it escalating into pure hatred in March after Lamar released 'Like That' with a direct diss to Drake.

The two have traded insults in songs for the last four months, with the perception of Lamar getting the upper hand in the feud due to his quality of work during the stretch.

DeRozan's appearance in 'Not Like Us' only adds more fuel to that fire.
