He was just 14-years-old when he wowed fans as a contestant on X Factor back in 2013.
But these days Jai Waetford is hardly recognisable as the teenager who won over audiences as a sweet faced singer.
Now 25, Jai will soon be seen in the hard hitting crime series Critical Incident, which is set to stream on Stan later this year.
And fans appear to adore Jai's new 'tough guy' hunky image.
Jai's Instagram message board is filled with comments from adoring followers responding to the performer's posts.

'Whoa! You went from cute X Factor sensation, to slightly awkward, to hot and steamy,' wrote another.
Several pictures featured in Jai's social media posts show the star showing off his heavily tattooed and tone physique.
One photo showing the star posing against a pool appeared to send Jai's fans hearts aflutter.
'Gorgeous, do you respond to any of your fans,' posted one follower.
Another simply gushed: 'Oh my God.'
Meanwhile, other fans were keen in singing Jai's praises.
'Damn you aged so fine,' while another wrote: 'I'm not comparing at all but you are like an Australian Justin Bieber.'
The talented heartthrob, who actually earned the nickname of 'Aussie Bieber' during X Factor, debuted his acting career on Neighbours in 2016.
In 2017 he announced he was relocating to Hollywood to pursue an acting career shortly after signing with the powerful US talent company Creative Artists Agency.
Since the gifted performer has accrued a massive 385k followers on Instagram.
